Songs are a great tool to improve listening and oral skills. Both traditional songs as well as the latest ones, are great to implement in the classroom. I really love working with lyricstraining and producing videos with my kids.

ICT| 03 New technologies
I try to use as many new technologies as I can. I have realized that the more English exposure the kids receive, the more they improve and, one of the best ways of doing it, is suggesting them apps and websites to work at home. I have created a league within the school called "Parellades League" where students can participate using an APP called "Duolingo". My students also have private accounts with specific exercises to work at home adapted to their level through the platform "englishexercises". Furthermore, I upload lots of interesting entries to my blog so they can have more English input.
GAMES | 04 Gamifying my class
When kids have fun, they are more motivated and learning becomes a natural process. Not only using games in the classroom is key, but also, gamifying the whole teaching methodology. Giving points, rewards, prizes, overcoming group challenges... I especially find very useful the following apps: "Classdojo" to manage my students and to communicate with their families, "kahoot" and "plickers" to gamify my lessons. I like to do themed gamifications, here is an exemple using AVATAR

I have coordinated tasks and projects with a group of Teachers in several training courses offered by the Department of Education in "el Garraf". Together, we have run school activities and ideas that had an impact in our students.

I have participated and coordinated several training courses offered by the Department of Education in Catalonia, Spain. The course "Tools to build great learning experiences for students" was run more than 6 times helping out more than 200 teachers get in touch and develop knowledge with the newest and most useful ict tools for teaching. I have also coached teachers that want to become civil servants by training them to face the State exams.

COACH | 06 Helping kids stay active
During the lockdown (quarantine due to Covid-19) I created several fun work outs that helped students stay active at home. Now, this channel continues to grow with active brain breaks that can be used in a classroom and videos that involve movement and physical exercise.
