From the school year 2016-17, I set up agroup work course for English teachers that are located in "El Garraf" (Barcelona) within the "XTEC" platform in order to keep growing as TEFL educators.

I worked for "Fundació Universitària Martí l'Humà" to train English teachers that want to become civil servants. WEB

Update EFL methodology within a competence-based curriculum and evaluation

2019 - present

l became a teacher trainer for the "Departament d'Ensenyament de Catalunya" and I developed this course in order to help other teachers update their methodology. WEB

"Tools to build great learning experiences for remote students". 2021-2022
 

The goal of this course was to create an attractive online platform where students would be engaged to deal with classroom contents. Teachers developed materials that were applied in their teaching lessons and shared with their colleagues in the course forums. The modules were divided strategically to design a virtual classroom, setting their students’ goals, including activities to improve their receptive and productive skills and linking all the contents to a specific topic or narrative (common thread).

Here I behold my final destination as a teacher from the Department of Education in Catalonia. I have been involded in different projects from Kindergarten to year 6, and also, in some innovative changes to the school. I have become the English coordinator of the school as well as the health and safety one. During the school year 20017-18 we have had the pleasure of working with an ErasmusIntern from Poland and a laguange assisstant from the USA. The next school year we also had an intern from Turkey and another one from Greece. This is how we teach the English language in our school: Les Parellades

I was an English teacher and I also developed some P.E lessons in English. The second year I became the health and safety coordinator.

​I enrolled the program "Profesores visitantes" from the Spanish Ministry of Education and I had the luck to get hired by the superintendent Mr. Wright from a school district near Chicago, Illinois. I had the pleasure of working within a completely different sociocultural context and I also helped the school district with after-school programs.

I had the good fortune of working with the teacher trainer Patricia Meneses Dekker, she was my first colleague and she guided me through my first steps in a school. I taught art and crafts in English, as well as ICT.
